Maggots

2 out of 12 jars I made have maggots in them. I steamed all the jars for an hour. The rest of the jars are coming along fine. This is the first time I have ever seen this. I'm actually waiting to see if the maggots die and the mycoliem keeps growing.

Maggots usually come from flies crawling in yer jars and laying eggs. Nothing sicker then bugs in yer jars. Sucks when that happens.

Yep, I had one lonely fruit fly just land on the top of one of my jars when I was checkin on them once. About a week later 3 jars had maggots in them, grossed me out dude. Get rid of them jars and buy some fly traps and what not.
