Hello,
I've got some nice looking fruit bodies that look like they will grow up to be nice shrooms. But a few of them have a brown vertical line runing from the base of the cap down the stem. Is this contamination? Is it safe to eat these guys? Thanks...

no it is not a contam...it is a problem with your humidity that causes those...but as I am sleepy today and got way to stoned last night I cant remember if it means high or low humidity...maybe someone else can help you out on that one.
