Contam or pin?

Verm/brown rice, ecuador strain, somewhat pressure sterilized (i have a pressure cooker with no pressure guage, and i steam sterilized it in the pressure cooker pot, while also taking advantage of the pressure aspect for about 30 minutes) 4 cakes total, none show contamination so far (97% colonized) except this one, which might just be pinning, but i want to be sure.

is that the last word on the subject? should i try and make a casing out of it, seperated of course from the rest? should i toss it? should i cut that part out?

Not a pin. May not be contamination either - looks like myc. discoloration. How long has it been incubating?

It looks like mycelium piss, which is ok if it doesn't grow considerably.
Don't use that section if you plan making a casing.

when i make the casing, should i just cut that section out? - these bastards have been incubating for about a month - i attribute this to brown rice, which sucks and ill never use it agian, large grain size vermiculite, and a really old mycelium suspension. - the spot has not grown since i noticed it, and it literally appeared overnight.
