Are Tazmanian poppies hard to grow?

According to www.poppies.org, Tazmanian poppies are the best of the best. Papaver Somniferum v. Nigrum on the other hand is one of the easier strains to grow. As a first time grower, what would you recommend?

Of course I rather go with the ?Tazzies,? but would I be biting off more than I can chew? Are Nigrums that much easier to grow?

Tazmanians are really easy too. Everybody can do it. Just keep in mind that they don't like transplanting.

i'm new to the whole poppy thing as well but if you do some reading you will find out that poppies are considered weeds, and actualy grow better than most weeds around, and some places even ban them from being grown because they do so well on their own and spread like crazy, diff climate zones make alot of difference but they grow pretty well all in all.
