Can you back up these assertions? I have to say I'm rather curious.
k well i cant provide a link, nor do i nescessarily believe anything, but i watched a documentary once on discovery, it was a study of this ancient culture, i cant remember their name, anyways they were thousands of years more advanced than any other equivalent culture (at that time) and had developed incredible technological and social advancements.
The most interesting thing was that they had a full map of the solar system, including the very farthest planets, thousands of years before europeans invented a telescope. There is no explanation for how they had this knowledge, which could not have been achieved with any of their technology, except the one they gave themselves: enlightend beings from a moving star told them. Its all in ancient writing on their walls.
And yeah, the documentary went on to show similarities in dozens of other cultures world wide. After a while the coincidences seem to pile up, although the conclusion is not yet clear.
these religions do not speak of "beings from another planet" specifically, but pretty close.
Here is a concrete example:
An indian tribe has a legend of
visitors that came up from the sky and landed near their willage,
at first the people were afraid of them, but later on they became friends and the visitors tought them a lot of things, from growing food to medicine.
Here is another one:
In aincient India, in the Veda books there is a little story
that goes like this:
Some kind of hero of war was approached by the semigod that came from the sky in his golden flying fortress. The semigod took him away
into the sky and showed him earth from above. He said he saw millions of stars, a round earth and thousands of other vehicles driven by semigods.
Take a look at these Veda's if you can find some quotes at least, they are full of things like that.
My theory is that these beings lived on Mars untill 10000 years ago when it was bombarded by meteors, so they migrated to different locations, on of them being our moon.
