I posted this in marketplace but I thought it could be appreciated here too. I hope this isnt considered cross-posting.





Yes, it is a demon face complete with horns, a high-speed cd drive and 4X DVD/16X cd burner. Also 4 USB ports and firewire in the "mouth"





It has a 1.1 GHz athlon XP upgradable to 2GHZ for about $100. 762 Mb of dual channel memory running at 333 Mhz I believe (512 @ 400 Mhz but 256 @ 333). Radeon 9600/64 Mb. Air filter on the CPU directed air duct (seen in the pic). Dual power supply (DPS seen in the pic, has a neon light in it). Dual, fan cooled Bios. Wireless G. SB live. Also 60 and 80 Gb drives.



It is a very nice Gigabyte mobo with Nvidia 2 chip and on-board raid 0/1 capabilities.

X-Dreamer case, green neon fans in back (2), top, side, two blue neons in front, 30 and 20 gb harddrives, 48x cdrw drive, Gigabyte GA-7VAX mobo, AMD Athlon XP 1800+, 512 mb 266mhz DDR, Gainward GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE video card. Think that covers it all.

My case is boring, but on the inside i got a ton of crap.

i got a amd 3, 768 ram(had a 512 chip go bad replaced with 128), 560 gigs of hard drive space in a few drives(1 external) 2 dvd burners (one doesnt right anymore but still rips dvds just fine) and 52x cd rom, radeon 9700 video, 5.1 soundcard(just 4 speekers 2 front 2 rear and sub), tv tuner/capture card (coax/rca/svid input), ide controller card to handle all my drives, some other shit too prolly im kinda high.

Oh yeah i got 3.5 inch floppy drive that doesnt work too, how essential those are with cdr/dvdr and flash drive storage. I got a few stickers on my case thats it, i never did get anything flashy. ooh my powersupply has a neat blue light on it. wooo

i have a cheap case too but inside have a p4 3.2e (i know, i know, i got it for free tho :smile: ) running at 3.6. 1gig cosair ram, gigabyte mobo, ati radeon x700 pro PCIe, sound blaster audigy 2, ati tv tuner, wireless g, maxtor 250gb 7200rpm sata, western digital 80gb 7200rpm sata, maxtor 80gb external hdd's, 9in1 card reader, 52x cd, cd-rw/dvd-rw hp lightscribe (burns labels directly to disk) bigger heatsink, fan ect. :stoned:

Here's what I fill my case with:
750 MHZ pentium 3 (OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!)
768 megs ECC Registered RAM
GForce fx-5200 VPU with 256 megs sgram (Overclocked, of course)
2 Atlas 10K RPM ultra 160 SCSI drives on a RAID0 controlled by 2MB XOR engine hardware(sweet!)
Proof positive that five-year-old servers make great gaming machines

Id assume pretty much Windows XP---or any other Windows program. Anybody running macintosh is doing art stuff.

i use winxp sp1, and debian. i would like to know linux better than i do, but i don't have time. i have to stay really familar with windows as i do computer repair stuff with a friend, and everyone uses windows (at least the morons that call us) :stoned:

I have an athlon 3200 w/ and asus a7n8x motherboard, 512mb corsair, 40gb/20gb hd, some TDK dvdr i think, and an asus v7100pro graphics. running win2k.

#2 is a pentium 1.3 something ghz, 512mb ram, 50gb hd, freebsd 5.0.
