its hard to say without a picture but it sounds like to me that you just have some mycelia that has bruised..

GOD I hate cakes....not worth the trouble it takes to fruit them.
It could be cont., or it could be bruising...take your pick :)
I would case them right away! There are many ways to go about it. But if you plan on leaving them like that, then i would keep an eye on them. Bring your humid. level up high, very high! You say you have pins on them, so it might be better to leave them alone till you can get a print.
