Contaminated Cake?

Is it possible to just cut out the contaminated part of the cake or is the entire cake contaminated??? I was planning on not letting it go to waste and consuming part of it.

Some people will say you can just cut it out and it will be fine, but I wouldn't recommend it. The mycelium network moves nutrients and all that good stuff all through the network... so the contam could very likely already be spread throughout the cake.

Yes, you can cut it out, unless its covering half of the cake. If the shroom grows and looks healthy, it most likely IS healthy.
