hello, i bought an 1/8th of good looking big shrroms today. when i later inspected them, the seemed to be alostm moist. they really were not wet at all, but were pliable, not bone dry like usual one. when i broke apert a large stem, there was a fine, snow white fuzz inside, is almost looked like a mold, but could have been due to a hasty drying, and was actually the shroom's insides. safe to consume?

yes, it is safe...the dealer just didnt dry it out completely, if you paid for an 8th and it weighs 3.5 g or less, the dealer isn't too cool.

I wouldnt say theyre safe.. You know by now what mold looks like and if thats what you think is inside their then it propably is and you got a chance that it may or may not be good for you.

Do they smell like normal mushrooms? Smell is a huge factor when decided if something is bad or not, but it is not the only factor. Some bacteria does not smell.
