questions to ask oneself while tripping

i was wondering if anyone knew of any bizarre questions to ask oneself while tripping or rolling? i dont roll often, but i love to trip :-)
anywho, things that dont make sense at all, heh. they seem to be able to pull me out of my ego really well, and i dont even have to answer them, they just make me laugh and smile :-)

well if you're looking for a trip... try "who am i?" or "who is that?" referring to somebody you're tripping with.

Ask yourself about technology and what we're going to do with it.. hmm lets see..

lay back and close your eyes - after a few minutes of experiencing whatever it is that happens when one does this, ask yourself "wow what IS that?!"

its almost happened to me before... it wasnt complete ego loss. but i asked myself ridiculous questions, and i started cracking up. you know those 3 sets of eyes on the shpongle cover of tales of the inexpressible? they started looking at me and telling me nothing is serious. they have such a carefree jovial look, but they still love :-)
anywho, thats not the point. the point is, the questions got me laughing and thinking that people are silly for taking life so seriously. shpongle made me feel that i wasnt alone in thinking this :-)

Yesterday, I "tripped" on an extremely low dose (barely 1 gram of Copelandia cyanescens) and I began to think about what direction I'm going in my life. I'm the sort of guy that is really crazy about music, (listening, playing guitar) but all of a sudden I realised that this love for music is interfering with other aspects of life. I'm a really quiet guy and I tend to spend a lot of my time daydreaming and not really participating in other aspects of life, if you know what I mean.

So from now on I'm going to try to be more open to others, as there's more to life than just music. I absolutely love music, but I know that I need to concentrate on other things too, like finding a nice girl for instance.


This may be a little off-topic, but anyway, the question simply was:
what direction am I going?

Try questions that can't be answered.

My favorite one... If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?

I actually came up with the TRUE answer to that. It's not about if the tree makes a sound, RATHER it's about how the tree fell inthe first place, was it wind? lighting? what was it?

My friends thought I was half retarded and that made no sense, well it sure made sense when I was tripping, lol. I still like to think it's about how the tree fell today, haha.

Yeah, I realize that question can be answered, but it's a rhetorical question that isn't meant to be answered, so shoot me.

People would tell me (while tripping, and i do still believe it) it was because of wind or lighting and i'd argue back, "no, you just don't understand, you're not supposed to answer that part" then they'd give me guff about answering a question that wasn't meant to be answered with another question, lol. All in good fun I suppose.

indeed, my opinion too, on the fact that one, if he want's to ask himself questions, should ask questions with no axact answer or even A answer at all ...

when one is looking for an answer and thinking all sorts of theories he is giving form to his individuality of the mind ... diffrently called: Ego ...

The questions should be so hard and with no exact answer that one suddenly just stops  looking for it ... at that point the mind stops thinking and no longer gives form to the ego ... than you are pure conciounsness ... no yes or no, no this and that, no oposites or rights and wrongs ... just experiencing what "is" ... what "is" can't be far from the truth :wink: ... don't try to change the truth to something like a word or a color or a theory ... the truth can't be expressed, it is already there ... the truth lies witthin silence of the mind ...

A good\weird\scary thing to way to ask a thought provoking question on a trip(or even sober for that matter):

Sit cross legged facing each other, look into each other's eyes and ask something over and over, repetitively. This will cause them to think way more in depth about it then they normally would. Ask something like "what have you become"

One time i read something "reality is a cooperation between minds" and the next day i ate mushrooms, and i remembered that quote then for 3 hours i stared at the patterns in the carpet and just fuckin tripped about conciousness and the meaning of life and all that shit. Yep. Tried it. Really a good one, one of the few USEFUL questions.
Another one is: What would I think about myself if I cold meet my "instant clone".
Instant clone being an perfect replica of yourself at this time, not a real clone, because you are a product of your experiences in a fair amount.

My friend's a drummer and I'm a guitar/banjo player. While I was at a festival with a friend we debated on whether rhythm or melody is the most important aspect of a song or music in general. So we wandered around asking people what they thought. We both came to the same conclusion. I'll leave the rest for you to ponder.

I like to ponder the arbitrary nature of the days of the week. I have no idea what's so interesting about it, but it always keeps my mind busy for a few minutes when I'm trippin.

when im tripping, i look at the days of the week weirdly. i somehow proved that every moment exists forever looking at them that way. they just extend forever, and somehow become another day, but im so confused... only makes sense when im tripping

I like to think about where the human race is going and when we're all gone what will come next. also i have this thought that in a black hole the laws of physics and the world aren't even compatible with ours, like there's no time, energy, any of that, but i think and think and can never come up with a feasible form of another world. very interesting i think.....
