adding rye to brf and vermiculate mixture

hey there, wonderin' what the mixture ratio of this should be for pf jars. 25%brf 25%rye 50%vermiculate or what. also is the rye just rye flour bought at a grocery store. where else could i find it if not at grocery store? does it go under different names or what? i apologize for the ignorant questions but that is how i learn things. thanks for all your help everyone!!!!!!

yeah rye flower works well, and you can mix it with brf to make it better. Add some flax seed, and you're golden. You can leave 'em whole, and no need to pre cook 'em

flax seed is sold at health food store's. It's very common, and the price is pretty cheap. If you plan on using flax seed, then it would be best to get a cheap coffee grinder. You have to grind the seeds up because the goos stuff is inside. Also if you plan on using this stuff, take caution because to much of this in your substrate can make it like syrup, which in turn will make it harder for the mcly.
