Hodgson Mill Rye Flour! From Kroger.
    #3938726 -

I got this Hodgson Mill Rye Flour at Kroger. I went from Inocc. to Birth in 35 days on 6 of 10 cakes in one batch. Using Thai Koh Samui Super Strain Spores from The Little Guy. The other 4 cakes arent far off they had less solution on them. Just throwing that out there in case Brown Rice Flour is hard to come by. It is a brown bag with a picture of a farm millhouse on it with a blue ribbon above the mill that says Whole Grain. Then across the bottom right of the mill it says Hodgson Mill premium quality since 1882. And under the mill a dark brown text box on the bag says All Natural * Stone Ground RYE FLOUR. Stuff works great in place of BRF.

I appear to be having good results with corn flour as well. Store was out of brf, so I tried it, and it seems to be colonizing as fast as brf.

I am currently experimenting with soy flour, but the texture when mixed up is very pasty and thick. Its a lot different than brf, so not expecting much.

Yeah, I tried a few rye flour jars recently for my first time. They work, but I fucked up the ratios of the substrate, so they stalled, but inside were dense little nuggets of germed myc that I cased. The casing is looking promising now. Waiting for it to fruit...

Other rye jars are colonizing fine though!
