I'm using a double tub for fruiting Shiitake and Reishi. It allows me to create optimal temperatures for fruiting and pinning.

I am also trying to fruit portobello but so far I had no success.

button (agaricus) mushrooms are notoriously difficult for the home cultivator, unless you have access to lotsa great fresh compost. and compost varies a lot.

most species aren't as forgiving as cubensis - for starters, they mostly need a lot more air exchange. give it a try, though, maybe shiitake would work in one of those things?
