best mac P2P?

i have been using limewire. but lately it has been freezing up on me. whats another good P2 P for mac? or solutions to thisi problem. my friend also soem hoe gets the songs i download on his itunes as i get his songs too. ever since i sent him a coupel songs in a email form limewire. his doesnt seem to have to problem but is on a PC

aquisition doesnt seems to be that great. not very many downloads work and not very many peopel use it not alot of stuff on there. and has a shitty pop up all teh time.

what about soulseek and dc++ for mac? i just googled and found these links, dc++ looks fairly easy to install to OS X, soulseek might be a little harder. both are excellent programs, i like dc++ for movies/programs and slsk for music. there's nothing better ime/o :stoned:

i have heard that soulseek is not very good aswell that it has to be rewritten to eb uof any use. i am not familiar really with how each of them work but this is what i read.

soulseek is awesome. i recently had a data loss problem and lost all my shit almost 2 weeks ago. since that time i've gotten 161 full albums, average bitrate of 192kbs, from slsk. i like independent music for the most part, and can find anything there. if you like more popular stuff i don't know how good slsk would be but i imagine it would still be pretty good. i have no problem finding more "mainstream" stuff there like rhcp, sublime, zepplin, floyd ect. there's no p2p network that can compare imo, except dc++, and it's not as user friendly so i always reccomened slsk. it did look like a little bit of work to get slsk going on OS X though.

nah, the best soulseek client for OSX is soulseeX
everything else sucks, really. ssX is what you want.
