Getting Slsk to work

Well ive had this problem forever now and after trying to get help on their forums for a while i figure i might try my luck here at the shroomery. I have a linksys BESFR41 v.2 router which doesnt allow me to view most everyones files. I have tried to follow the guide at portforward.com and such but my screens never matched the guides and didnt work so i took somones suggestion of updating my firmware. I try by going to the website and d/ling the firmware matching my router then logging into my router and trying to update it from there but it just never starts updating and after like 30 mins has some error message. If anyone out there has had this problem or knows how to fix it please help me. Thanks

you really dont need to forward ports yourself with the latest soulseek builds - just make sure upnp is enabled on your router and in your soulseek client (that is, if your router supports upnp).

it sure does im used to browsing about 20 peoples files at a time and maybe getting 1 or 2 to work but now all of them do unless they have no files shared. My name is Honkmafia hit me up if you want i got a rather good growing collection of reggae
