Cooking With Shrooms

I don't entierly know if this is where this post belongs, sorry.
I read the recipie section but still have one specific question...
Say i chuck a can of soup into a pot and heat it up then pour it in a bowl and add one trips worth of finely chopped fresh mushrooms and mix them in and 'drink' it will the heat affect the mushrooms?

Simmering heat is alright. When I make tea, I put my ingredients into a pot of water and leave simmering on low for about half and hour, forty five mins. Strain the crap out and put the water in a mug with a honey lemon tea bag and some sugar.

Your soup will be fine I think.

Well i went with the soup option. Put 30 grams fresh mexican shrooms cut up fine into a warm bowl of soup. Almost done eating it...not noticed anything yet i.e pupil dilation but maybe it takes longer with this method of consumption? We'll soon find out.
