Well I like the new look. The Bulletin Board is still a little slow. I just recieved my filterdisks. They are from fungi perfecti, are they the same as micron majic? I still dont understand how to innoc through this material. The spore syringes that I bought are blunt tiped(not sharp). How do I get this through the filter materal without first making a hole. If I do need to make a hole should I cover it with poly fill or tape. I understand that getting a blunt needle throung poly fill I also very hard. I have not built a glove box. Can I do this in the open air? I would like to leave some empty space in my jars so I can shake it up. Would you advise this or should I use a dry layre of vermiculite. Lastly wich spore vendor sells spore syringes with a sharp needle that will go through these filter disks? Thanks for all your time. Grow Smart BrianR

It would be in your best intrest to perform a open lid innoculation of your jars using the Low-Dollar Sterile Tek. (Oven Tek.) as to not make any holes in your filter disks.

Yes, Myco Supply carries the exact kind of filter disc as Fungi Perfecti. Same filtration rate of .3 microns, same exact fit for each particular jar size, same material......just a different price:) Lana
