NuSHROOM Hey brother, I got the filters!! You are the man for helping out the community with a deal like this. I will definatly let you know how it works out and they will be compared against polyfil filters sharing the same diameter holes in the lids. There will be 12 jars, split 6 and 6. They will be quarts with birdseed/gypsum/H2O. She will get underway as soon as sporechicks comes through with the pan cyan syringe. Should not be that long and if so she'll just use some agar cultures grown out from Ralphsters FSR. Peace and thanks again........

Well, my guess would be that this persons jar probably had too much seed, too much moisture, and not enough air exchange..... i've has this happen before too ;-). Anyone else have any ideas why this would happen?

you always use 2 disks or would 1 work
