here are some pics of 11 different mushies I found here in WV,, although they may be hard to see,, i was wondering whether anyone could tell if any could be magical... these were all in the woods and about 100 yards from a river,,,
Much thanks,, ,, the pic is kinda blurry but if anyone thinks any of these resemble a magic one,, i could try to get it cleared up,,, the pic is at:::: http://members.aol.com/gumyy/munky.jpg

Nope, none of them are magic. Do a little reading and research, you'll see that almost no active Psilocybes grow in forests. I'm sure something magic does grow in your, more than likely Panaeolus subbalteatus grow in horse pastures around your way. None of your mushrooms resembles an active psilocybin mushroom. You need to be familar with what your looking for before you just start picking mushrooms and taking pics hoping for them to be active. Atleast know that most all psilocybin mushrooms stain blue, if you find a *gilled* mushroom that stains blue, chances are 99% in your favor that you found a psilocybin mushroom species. Always make sure that *you* know what your ingesting is safe, don't count on this board to tell you what your finding is active, but rather count on it as somwhere to teach how to tell if what you have is active.
