ID request: P. Stunzi resemblence, but no blueing...

Went to a small site near my house that has produced many non-actives in the past. I found 11 non-active species today, non edible too to my knowledge. I did find these however. From a distance they resembled P. Cyan. because of the whiteish stem and orangy/brown cap but as I got closer they had a distinct veil around the stem. So I thought, oh, maybe a form of P. Stunzi. But as I inspected them closer, they did not appear to bruise blue and the veil did not have any blueish hue. The stems are white/tan and brown slightly when bruised. They are approx. 2-2.5 inches in height fully mature, and there were at least 3 dozen more pins/adolescnce growing in wood chips that were laid maybe 4-5 years ago. About 2 ft from them was a large well maintained lawn that most likely receives fertalizers of some sort. This was on the eastside in the Woodinville area.

Could be wrong, but those look like picture perfect Galerinas to me. If the spore print comes out a rusty color, this will confirm it. DO NOT EAT, Galerinas are deadly.

I've never considered eating anything I've picked where I had to slightly question their species or genre.  I like being alive thank you :smile:

Way to go, Gumby!

Those definitely look close to Galerina autumnalis, the deadly Galerina. Microscopic examination is required to be certain of the species, but, as Gumby said, a rusty brown spore print will tell us that those are Galerinas, and very possibly deadly ones.

Spore print them - see if you can decide for sure if they are GA or not. If they are take a very good look at them top and bottom, go back and look at them growing, how and where they grow.
My first advice to new mushroom hunters is to learn the nasty ones first, even before you bother with edible or active ones.

Gumby Dude, you are partially right, i readjusted the color in photoshop and yes, they are deadly as hell, ecxcept they are Concocybe filaris, not one of the three deadly Galerina shrooms.
Here is a better image but I could not correct the photo any better than i did.
