tek vs. tek

I am contemplating which method to use. the PF tel or the shroom wizards tek. with the pf it says the shrooms should never be sprayed directly but in the shroom wizrd tek that what you do. they seem to contradict eachother. do both methods really work? I like the shroom wizard tek becuase i can conceal it easier. does it REALLY work? and does it get good yeilds.

Any tek posted here at the Shroomery in grow/find will produce results that are plenty sufficient for most people. There are a lot of different takes on things and a lot of different teks - the best thing is to read a lot, synthesize what you know and find one that seems to make the most sense to you. Also just trial and error will teach you a lot, and more than you could probably learn from getting questions answered.

in nature, God sprays her shrooms both directly and indirectly, and has for millions of years. in my own observation, it does not harm mycelium if done moderatly.

the risk is that the mist from your sprayer will pick up airborne contams and deliver them directly to the mycelium. if it is not fully colonized, or is old and loosing its vigor, this could be a problem, otherwise no

yes . . . I would have to say that reading is the best way to go. If you read enough teks ( and there are a lot out there) and gather enough info bout what u r doing then i suggest you mix and match the teks suggestions and go about it the best way you can. I think i said that right oh well i'm a little smokey right now. peace

Whatever you do, don't spray a pinning casing, this will cause aborts. Shroom Wizard`sTtek is good for casing only, stick with the PF-Tek for colonizing jars.
