Round the world trip is in order

My early fantasies involved finding some sort of energy efficient propulsion device and installing it on a boat plane: free to go where ever whenever!

Then there was a brief moment when i considered adopting sun flares to power and recharge accumulator and energy efficient turbin engine on a boat.

Now i got the hand on sailing and controlling elements. I realised you can travell anywhere on water no matter where the wind blows.

Any seasoned sea wolfs in here, this is where you come in with some advice.
So i'm thinking of obtaining a TRIMARAN. I'm only familiar with basic stuff like dragonfly or f-24 / f - 30. Which mass produced model / make would be the best?

Now, the other thing i need to know is what potential problems might pop up on my way? Beside the obvious ones like runing low on water in the middle of Pacific Ocean. I hear ropes can dry out with constant moisture and then extreem sun - they crack and your done for, is that true with modern equipment?

Plan so far, sail from Spain down to the South Ocean, stopping on the way in Latin Americas and Africa, then turn East and quickly sail to Pacific with few stops in Indies and Polinesies. After that 6 - 12 month cruising in the Pacific Oceania, living on and off in the distant communities.

The sea is calling...

Mmm....booty.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Today is Thurrrrrrrrrrsday- a pirate's favorite day, Arrr!

You could use hemp ropes. That is what the used in the old days on boats (I'm sure they have fancy ropes now) becaue the salt and sun don't get to them. Hemp = good at sea.

Hemp. I'll make sure there several pounds of home grown chronic in a well sealed storage container. Those long days when its just you and the sea ..... roll up a fatty and puff away, my own version of water world. before going,  stock up on weed and shrooms, and other nesesities such as beans, peas, corn and non perishables, tuna etc... and chocolate bars and ... anything else to satisfy my munchies.

I reckon it will be a while between each stop.  :rasta: Once in Africa i might get lucky and set a barbecue somewhere... living off junk food for month is no good

Leaving portugal i will either head straight for bahamas or depending on the weather down the african coast. It will be weeks in sea on me own, animal of some sort might be of comfort on board. oh maybe go wild:

anchor near beach in Rio and and invite a lass with big boobs for a 'tour' of the local waters

Hmmmm well its still a long time so lets not jump ahead of us

And yes, the sea is calling
