My first Live dead show was in 1989 at RFK. I was 16, dosed, and had the time of my life. Drove through three states to sit in the nosebleed section of a large stadium. Parking lot was insane, music was insane, people were insane. There really is nothing like a Greatful Dead show.

I miss Jerry. I went to a couple dead shows in summer 2003, but they aren't the same without Jerry. Guitar aside, it is the VOICE that is missing most. The music is still great, just miss the VOICE. I think Phil sings too much now. :blush:

question for ya'll
im having problems downloading shows from the archive, when i try to open the files is says there corrupt and they dont open, any suggestions?

They also have the .flac frontend that allows you to listen to and convert .flac files into .wav.
