Well, it was the best trip of my life, and gdman420's as well...
We did over an ounce of various strains of cubensis last saturday night throughout a 9 hour period.
I started with a 5 gram dose of blue meanies, he had a 4 gram dose of Mazatapecs and 1.5 hours later, did 5 grams
of Mazatapecs and 2 hours later did 6 grams of what Magash likes to call "Hammershlag", a mixture of different strains, followed by 7 grams of Mazatepecs 2 hours after that....
We peaked for over 9 hours while listening to the best trip music through headphones.
Midway through the trip, I broke out the trip enhnacement toys...
I brought my laptop into the living room, hooked the output up to the stereo receiver and a laser dicsco generator projected at the corner of the living room, so that it had 3 surfaces to project on, producing a 3D image while the laptop played the music using Winamp's Milkdrop as a visual.
Both the laser and Milkdrop coincided in in display somehow. It was absolutely amazing!
We listened to all sorts of music from Beatles to Rush, from Greatful Dead to Neuromotor to Shpongle, and more.
It was 9 hours of total BLISS... Unfortunately, my camera is not good enough to capture the laser show, so I did my best to draw it in... You can clearly see part of Milkdrop on the laptop and my lightning disk (which reacts to sound) letting us highlght lyrics and rythym at our whim.
What an AWESOME night!!
I cant wait to do it again!

Sounds like you guys had an awesome time. Music through headphones while tripping is surreal, especially if you kick it with studio style headphones.
I think I have that laser thing...got it at Target.

just out of curiosity, how were you able to eat so much? that seems like a shitload, handling 5grams alone can be tough, do you guys have high tolerance? big fellas? or just hardcore psychonauts? haha

This was most definitely the best trip I have ever had, when I finally made it to TM's pad, we munched our first dose. He told me I would be his guinea pig for his new mushrooms (see TM's cased rye tek in cult) which of course was fine by me . I was tripping very nicely on TM's very comfy couch, listening to his incredible trip mix through high quality headphones.
At some point he broke out the laser light show projector and turned on milk drop, mesmerizing. They where absolutely beautiful, I highly recommend to everyone to download milkdrop, it's a must for indoor tripping. Then He suggested we eat some more mushrooms, so we re-dosed and soon after where right back up there. We had re-dosed some more that night. I highly recommend re-dosing if you have the mushrooms. It is totally worth it, we where peaking for just so long it was out of this world. I word, bliss. The best trip of my life  . This was well worth the drive over to TM's, what a night!
Hang out with TM if you get the chance, he's awesome. I'm just still in awe and have been feeling such an afterglow ever since. Best night of my life  .

Sounds like you had a blast.
Ive eaten an ounce and a half over the course of a whole weekend, really tripped hard at first, then just stayed body high for the rest, it was awesome.
good job.
next time invite me, ill bring a couple ozs, we can top you guys.

i believe anything past 5 dry grams is drug abuse, if you cant get the effect with 3 grams you should evaluate whats going on. i sugest you dont abuse drugs that way and enjoy them as a friendly buzz. if your after death trips try lsd..... i did someone a favor so they are sending me san pedro opium seeds and datura seeds, ill forward some of the datura seeds if you like ;-)

i understand what you are saying by categorizing a trip but it would be near impossible to explain your trip fully, so the only common ground is this categorizing so i can compare how i feel at level "4" to how you were feeling. if that really makes any since. sorry, sometimes i have trouble expressing my words in writing.

yeah it sounds to me like the setting made this so good, do you redose often cause ive always thought of it to be a bad idea but you guys are talking so highly of it. i might try it next time i trip.

That was my first time re-dosing, tm had done it before. It certainly won't hurt you, and you won't trip any less by eating more mushrooms  . It will extend your peak, but ymmv.

Redosing definately works, to a point.
Three doses over 6 hours seems to be the maximum before tolerance takes over.
Well worth doing if you have the shrooms to spare and the music to last the time.
Like I said, I can't wait to do it again!
