Mycobags too moist?
    #3822443 - 02/23/05 01:27 PM (19 years, 1 month ago)

I had this dream last night where a mycobag was obviously over saturated, with water droplets in the bag. Just wondering how one might go about slightly drying out a mycobag?

this is a tough one, to let some moisture out of the bag you need air exchange, try making the most sterile enviornment you can then your going to need to put a filter disk on the opening of the bag, and try incubating it at 85 to 90 degrees to get that moisture out, or another method is to sterilize more substrate use half the water you normally would so the substrate is kind of dry, go to a sterile or semi sterile enviornment and add substate to bag so it soaks up some moisture, either way your risking contamination but if the bag is left too moist it will probably contaminate over time.....
