humid setups

I have a simple quick question:

I am Using a cool mist humidifier (vicks) attached to a serilite tub, with a bottom layer of perlite and fruiting from cakes, its about a 10-15 gallon tub. With that said, I want to know where I should attach the hoses to the tub, at the bottom to facilitate air entrainment, middle, top, also what is the best solution for making an air exaust.

Have it enter about mid way between the top of the cakes and the perlite. And since your using a sterilite container you don't need to rig up an exhaust, 'cuz they don't seal up 100% any way, the extra air will just seep out through the cracks.

id say get some pvc long enough to span the width of the container and drill holes in it and maybe run the pipe along the top of the side wall pointing the jets down along the wall.
i got this idea from the mushroom cultivator so if you dont understand go to your local library and check it out.

also mcman has a site that has a lot of equations that would be useful www.myco-tek.com/MC/

With the coolmist, I think you might have overhumidification problems with using perlite too. What I did when I was running the coolmist setup was to run the airline into the top right hand corner and have a 1/8-1/4" hole right at substrate level in the lower left hand corner to allow CO2 to bleed away

This setup that I was using made it so you could do 5 chambers of PF style and 10 casing chambers with a single coolmist left on 24/7
