Frankly, it sounds like you have bad taste in men. You need to find someone who is in a relationship you admire, and ask them if they have any single friends they'd recommend. Date the one that is least appealing, just to get a sense of how much less bullshit you can expect from someone who respects you. Let this first guy go, the less time you waste with him the better.
