to play music

my dream is to play all over the world in a successful music group
nothing makes me feel more free than being swallowed up by all that noise that I am helping conduct, and i would love to exhibit that feeling and make a living off of it.

I have about 3 semesters left before I get my bachelors in art. but while im in school, music remains a side project. I am tempted to drop out of classes now, get a full-time job and start saving up cash for musical equipment, and spend my free time writing music and searching for like-minded people to collaborate with.

it feels like a mission to me, I am 21, creative on the guitar, have a good spatial and dynamic sense for compositions, and have a good decade to get something working. my whole life i've sort of half-assed everything - except for music.. it's like the one thing i've taken 100% seriously and have no doubt i could devote my life to.

its a choice.. if i am determined enough i know i can make it happen. thats a big 'if', though, and the world is full of distractions and depressions...

Well finish your 3 semesters, then get the job. Don't drop out when you're only a year away (take a summer semester).

We should give up goal orientation and simply be. Life is not about getting somewhere in a hurry, but enjoying the journey to the full.

Finish college. There is really no reason not too. Is it holding you back from making music? Class is 3 hours a day tops, and a little studying.

Im really not trying to dissuade you from your goal, but arent there enough guitarists out there? I have never once heard of a band that cant find a guitarist. What is it about the guitar that makes everyone want to play nothing but that? The guitarist market is saturated, even for good guitarists.
