weird ass shrooms

today i was mowing the lawn when i saw some weird shrooms that werean orangish red at the top. the spore print was yellow and the stem was the same orangish red as the top. i thought nothign of it so i ran the over with the lawn mower. i picked a piece of it up and the inside was blue. they bruised blue as well. dose anyone have any idea of what i have found. i live in va if that helps

To me it sounds like some kind of Conocybe species...

but, i have no idea

You found(or rather mowed) some type of bluing boletus, they are quite common, and are considered poisonous. They are one of the rare exceptions to the bluing rule. Look at these mushrooms again and you'll notice they don't have gills, but rather a spongy porus type underside to the cap.
