found shrooms

i went shroom hunting yesterday and was in the woods under a lot of dead decaying trees i looked down and seen a mushroom then another and another altogether 10 i broke them off there stem and it was purple with purple gills it had a brown cap with what looked to me like strech marks on it. I picked these shrooms and proceded to let them dry out the caps even went purple are they safe? do psychoactive shrooms grow in the woods?

You did not provide enough information in your post, answer these questions and someone MIGHT be able to help..

1. stem color
2. sporeprint
3. did it bruise blue
4. what it was growing around / in
5. where are you from
6. any viel or anything else unique about the mushroom?

Pictures make things easier too. Some of the people here can identify a mushroom from only a picture (but cannot be positive without other information such as spore color, did it bruise blue, etc.)
