Black dots??

A friend has 12 jars innoculated w/ PC Equador spores. the 5 jars showing mycelium growth all have black dots on the mycelium. Can this be fixed with peroxide?

I dunno if this is the same mold, but on my casing i got some spider/cobweb mold that appeared when i was gone for a weekend, and when i came back some of it had black pin heads on it, i think thats where they release there spores... i had a cobweb prob for a while after that, till i went to straight verm casing, now it never molds ;). I rarely get funky jars, if i do it usually just stinks like vinegar.

If the black dots are raised like pinheads and they are scattered through your jars there is little hope for them. My aquantince had the same thing once.

Are you certain the dots aren't clumps of spores? If they're spreading, it's likely black pin mold.

Take em outside before you open them and throw them out!
A friend of mine had the same contamination recently,that stuff spreads like crazy! Not sure if its poisonous..doubt it.
