optimal pH level for 50/50+ casing

I just got myself setup with litmus paper, crushed coral and some different types of casing soil. I just wanted to know what the optimal pH for the cubies. Any and all input is appreciated. peace and thanks to all, -uniboner

Thanks for all of your help. I will keep you informed on how things go as I am using crushed coral to bring up the pH. The only thing that worries me now is the 900ppm of Magnesium. I know mushrooms dislike Mg but I wonder if they can just ignore 900ppm. Anyways, Ill keep you all posted. Thanks again. Peace, -uniboner

There have been some research of the button mushrooms industry that the button mushrooms dislike high levels of Mg in casing. Nobody never did a research concerning P. cubensis.
