Hydrated lime in 50/50+ casing

Is the hydrated lime in Hawks 50/50+ casing a typo? Shouldn't
it be regular lime? When I first saw the recipe I thought it was an
error and now that I tried it I find it doesn't colonize very well at all.
Hydrated lime is so caustic it burns your hands when you mix 50/50+
casing. Yeah, thats what cuased that soapy feeling on your hands
for three days after mixing up a batch of 50/50+.

It should say limestone(chalk, CaCO3).
