Weed, Good for weight loss?

Call me stupid, but i had an idea the other day.

You hear of models taking coke to suppress appetite, well, what about smoking weed excite it?

If you think about it, it makes you hungry, and when your hungry your body wants food, what if you didn't eat when this forced hunger occurs? Maybe your body would resort to fat cells or unused energy?  or just maybe i'm being a dumbass with silly ideas :cuckoo:

Anyways.. it's still a good excuse to roll a joint or two  :wink:

Hehe, no no. Weed only makes your body "think" it's hungry, when you might not ACTUALLY need food at the moment. You have no control over the use of your fat cells, either...your body uses the energy in your fat cells AS IT NEEDS IT, so the only way to force your body to use fat (that I know of, anyway) is to stop eating as much.

That being said: here's Trendal's Weed Weight-Loss Recipe:

1) start smoking weed
2) start smoking weed every day
3) quit your job because, hey, that's time wasted when you could be toking!
4) continue smoking weed every day, despite the lack of funds
5) any time now you should begin to lose weight as your $$$ for food goes to money for pot
6) continue until desired weight is reached, then quit smoking entirely, put yourself through detox, get a job again, AND DON'T EAT SO GOD DAMNED MUCH FOOD ANYMORE! :wink:

I hope to god no one actually tries that :smirk:

good luck saying no to food when your stoned and hungry. I tried once because all I had to eat was twinkies. I lasted about 10 minutes and then ate like 20 twinkies... yuck. I don't even like twinkies.

i forgot to add that this was just an idea and im not fat, just a healthy 130lb, 5.9", nor am i looking for any quick fixes, thats if any of you got the wrong idea :lol:

Yep it is, so is drinking beer, umm umm they both make you much up a storm...nah I like to have a little gut going, I am older, and it is winter time...I need some extra padding but not much...I need a beer thinking about it..

yea, bad idea, weed just excites and stimulates the pituitary gland (in charge of growth hormones and what not) so you only think you are hungry regardless of your body's need for sustenance.
