1. Do I have to replace the dessicant in my MMGG drying chamber everyone once in a while while drying shrooms?

2. When are you suppose to pick abhorts? I got a few wth black caps but the stems aren't too fat yet.

You can reuse it. Put it in the oven for 30-45 min at around 300-400 deg. Let it cool in an airtight bag so it doesn't absorb moisture from the air.

2. When are you suppose to pick abhorts? I got a few wth black caps but the stems aren't too fat yet.
Try to pick them before they turn black. That means they are starting to decay and will start to rot soon. If you can get them before they turn black, keep em and dry em out. You will build up a collection and they do add up. I split about 1.5g dried baby shrooms and abhorts and maybe 5 or 6 fresh small shrooms and we both tripped fairly hard. Apparently the production of the psycoactives (psilocin/cybin) is greatest when small, and trails off once the veil is ripped. So, perhaps they're more potent per unit weight.

1) I personally don't reuse dessicant..I usually toss it when it 'glues' itself together(you will know what this means if it occurs)..

2) If the abort is attached to a larger fruit, use a box cutter/exacto or something similar to cut it away from the healthy growing shroom..this shouldn't hurt anything.
