Making Terrarium Safe

I am about to take out a forest-green infested casing from a terrarium and put in some PF cakes.
How can I be sure there are no remnants of the forest green hanging around to mess with my cakes? Is a spray of lysol or chlorine/water enough?

I would clean it up with some water and bleach before reusing it.
