What the hell did i take... acid?

Not too long ago I bought three sugar cubes of what was supposedly Liquid LSD. Not really thinking i chewed up and swallowed one of these, i heard a few days later that you should hold sugarcubes under your tongue, which might have affected it. So I lay down and waited for the drug to take hold. Two hours later i felt extremely disconnected and somewhat anxious yet I was not tripping, then my friend picked me up and we proceeded to smoke a hudge bubler bowl of nice indoor. Immediantly after taking the rip i was gigling and starting to feel weird. the snow on the ground started looking cartoony and i saw little flashes of light in the sides of vision. After about a half hour i went home and lay down and put on some Grateful Dead it was over 3 hours later and i began to see extremely colorfull closed eye visuals. THey were a little less intense then 5.5 grams of shrooms. I still wasn not mentally tripping as hard as an eighth yet though but felt my trip rising. I listened to the music for about an hour and began to feel a warm fuzz all around me. The next thing i remember it was the next morning, and i somehow fell asleep which i heard cannot be done on acid.
The following day a friend of mine took on a then another a few ours later for the whole day he acted like stupid and was extremely disconnected. Yet he told me it was nothing like tripping What Im wondering was this acid or some other drug what went wrong and how did i fall asleep.

Have you ever done acid before or was this your fist time? Many people experience LSD differently then mushrooms, so you may have been expecting something different. Also it doesn't sound like you had a very high dose, so that would explain the anxious feeling if you were expecting to have your mind blown away.

Anyways I guess what I'm trying to say is that it is always better to trip without expectations, because expectation can only lead to disappointment. Now having said that, don't confuse expectation with preparation.

yes it was my first time. But if this was what acid was supposed to be like then its a shitty drug, unless its a small dose. But I experienced little to no mental affects besides the giggling after the weed. But my friend had taken two and he only felt spaced out and slow minded. Someone told me maybe it was DOB?

DOB lasts a really, really long time. Quite a bit longer than acid.

Yeah that wasn't DOB. It sounds like you just took a low dose.

oh and sounds like a low dose of acid because i have taken a low dose of acid before and that describes it very well nice closed eyes very little open eyes disconnection enhanced perception "clarity"

yes i know what i took was acid becuase i took 1 hit and my freind took 3 and he was tripping face

I'm guessing he got an even lower dose, 30-50mics maybe.....keep trying HesGone, there are so many really good doses going around, you're bound to get some love sooner or later....most likely sooner.  :wink: :laugh:

don't think that LSD is a mild experience, cause if you do get your hands on some good doses and then eat a few hits like its nothing you will seriously be blown away. i would suggest when ever you get some new doses to only eat one or two so you can get a feel for how potent they are. don't over step your limits by eating a ten strip just because u had weak doses once and thought nothing of it.

Yeah....that kinda shit happens way too often, and give acid a bad name. In fact, I think something similar to that happened on Dead and Phish tour a lot, and caused a lot of problems; A bunch of kids, new to the scene, not even knowing what acid really is drop 10-strips to impress their friends and GFs (frat-kids and fitch kids esp.) and then bugged the fuck out..... :nonono:

yeah i hate that. people don't give the substance the respect it deserves, end up getting their ass kicked and then spread negative information and will end up never being able to get from it what it has the potential to give, all because they were dumb asses. this applys to all psychedelics really...
