I think fear might be the starting point, but soon it might generate into a life style, you may even forget what it si to be social. You may go out to a pub to socialise, meet a nice lookin girl, but what to say?
You have been sat behind a computer so long words just dont flow free anymore.

I, myself, am not one to socialise, i do go out, go to gigs, have a large number of friends, But i find it hard to communicate sometimes. I am getting better, shrooms have guided me to my problems and showed me how to solve them. All in all i am not that bad.

I know people who just stand there and say nothing, sometimes they knock on my door asking for me to go out wiht them, so i go out for a while but they say fuck, it pisses me off how they call for me and yet they have nothing to say, waste of time.

sometimes I can be extremely quiet. but that only happens in large groups of people that I do not like. I will stay silent to avoid conflict.

Same here, when in large groups, i would rather stand back in the crowd and let things flow. I not one to butt in or cause conflict, or if i do speak in those situations i just say something really stupid and pointless.

Im a traveller. When I was 15 I spent a summer in Europe while my parents stayed in the states. I used to tour a lot as well as a teenager.

My social skills come from being a drug addict/alcoholic.

the assholes you deal with growing up make you antisocial... the schools i went to were ripe for columbine-type events... lots of slutty dimwitted popular kids that picked on the dorky kids... that's what makes you antisocial... the jerks you deal with in school growing up make you hate people in general

I got picked on endlessly in High School. I was one of the "freaks" with dark hair and lots of silver jewelry. I went to Catholic School and nobody there went to raves or did drugs, only us LOSERS. Well, I am more socially outgoing than some of those popular kids are now. Maybe drugs are good
