I am considering using the PF casing Tek on my fully colonized Mazapatec jars and a strain of B+ from 1999 (the infamous azure/cube wannabe hybrid). It says to leave the casing covered after the mycelium has grown over the top layer, but then what? What kind of light should I give it and should it be left cloer to the mid 70s or mid 80s and do I need to add additional humidifying set-ups? Also, what kind of yeilds should I expect compared to the hippie neglect tek and the regular cake birthing tek? By the way, thanks a lot you guys are always great at helping with this stuff.

Well it is a good choice to case. You get better yields than cakes and the neglect tek. Because you don't ignore them and harvest them before they get all big and fat it consumes less nutrients from whatever you are growing with. And in effect more mushrooms. While the mycelium is colonating on the top you should keep the environment at about 80. Then when the top is about 1/2-3/4 covored stick it in a terrarium and drop the temperature to about 10 degrees less. Make sure there is good air circualtion and at least 90 humidity. If it doesn't fruit then lower the temp a bit more and more fresh air. And give it a couple hours of light each day. Try to make it an overhead light so the mushrooms grow more or less up&down.

Ted: "Uh yeah, and I got you this paper bag to stop you from looking like James Brown in the Morning."
Darlene: "Oh come now, I don't look anything like James Brown."
Ted: "Hey kids, who does your mom look like in the morning?"
Kids... in unison: "James Brown!"
Darlene, "All right, thats enough... It's poison spaghetti for dinner tonight."
