Worm castings....confused

Hi.. newbie here... I confused if i should crumble brf cakes with the worm castings.... or should i case on top... Thanks in advance :cool:

You can do either really. You my find it easier the first time to case your cakes with the castings to see if you have any improvements versus other casing you have tried. Perhaps more productive would be to use the cakes as spawn to innoculate a larger volume of castings. It has been my experience that worm casings alone are not enough to provide fruits. I have only worked with one brand of worm castings so perhaps I am the exception. The texture makes them have a tendancy to get kinda mud like. You might look into getting some wheat straw. Mix 20% castings or so with the straw. This will give texture. I observed no real improvement over just plain wheat straw spawned with a high ratio of grain.
