I knew a guy who got a yeast infection in his nose and mouth after having oral sex with a girl with an infection. Never heard of anyone with an infection on his penis. Ewwwweeee.

CF. Sorry dude. I couldn't resist. You just need to keep your shit dry man. Phishgrrl gave good advice. I've heard of babies getting yeast infections if they have wet diapers all the time, so if you sweat a lot I guess you could get it on your pecker's surface.

yes - most men actually HAVE a yeast infection and spread it to their parteners w/o ever realizing it. It doesn't usually have any noticable effects in men - but it definately does in females.
I suggest you BOTH go to a doctor ASAP and get prescribed a medicine for it. There is a pill - take 2 and it usually is cured in 24 hours!
If you want to go the natural route - make sure you both take LOTS of acidophilus. And eat LOTS of yogurt (make sure it says "Live and Active Cultures" on the label).
A yeast infection is really when you do not have enough healthy bacteria in your system. As a female - I have contracted a yeast infection but I SWEAR by the yogurt and acidophilus pills (get those at ANY health store - chewable or swallow - make sure to keep it refridgerated at all times).
Good luck - and until you're BOTH completely cured from this (I'd give it a week after symptoms calm down) make sure to use a condom - apparently my friend and her bf have been bouncing their yeast infections back and forth haha... gross I know but they aren't patient!!!

In 30+ yrs as a med lab tech I have never seen a urethra swab come back with candida albicans (thrush.....yeast) positive. However, oral thrush is very common. Not saying it is impossible to have Willy turn white...just unlikely.
