Blue Cakes/Birthing

Has anyone ever seen a cake go blue by not being touched ? I birthed some cakes a 4 or 5 days ago and their are some blue spots like I usually see when I hold them. Didn't touch this bad boy except when I let it out of the jar and then I shook it out didn't put my paws on it.

What gives and if the temp around these 'babies' is in the upper 90's what damage will this cause. Seems to slow the growing process, or is it just me.

Any feed back would be great.

Sounds like low humidity or high CO2 levels. Increase air exchanges and try to get the humidity up.
It's also possible that they are drying prematurely. Sometimes this can happen if the substrate mix was on the dry side to start with. If getting the humidity up and increasing air exchanges doesn't help, try dunking it for 12 hours.
