a stem and its cap

if the cap is still connected to the stem, (the cap is closed, so it looks like a "match" stick), would eating that be the same as eating one stem and one cap? or is there anything different about it?

What? It doesn't matter wether or not you eat stems or caps, it's all the same. What matters is the weight.

I think your question was more is this kinda mushroom any different than ones with an open cap. Being that it looks like a weird match, i think what you have is an abort which means its not a fully developed mushroom. I have found and it has been verified by many others that aborts have a higher concentration of psilocybin and psilocin. But ya its all the same shit. Eat and enjoy
