Please! Any one else a die hard fan? They actually were the for-fathers of "grunge" since '84, ( Even though I hate that term, or making a term of any music). Kurt Cobain got most of his inspiration from the Melvins, and King Buzzo, of the Melvins, and Kurt were buddies in school way before either started playing. Even David Grohl envies Dale Crover, (Melvins drummer), to the point of worshiping him.


If none of you guys have given the Melvins a try, Check out Kazaa or start off with Ozma/Gluey Porch Treatments, Eggnog, Lysol, Stoner Witch, or their newest Hostile Ambient Takeover, (H.A.T.) cd's. You WILL NOT BE disappointed!

Lorax... One of the first bassists of the Melvins is actually Shirley Temple's daughter... She's the the bassist on a couple of albums and the one holding up the cat in the photo.

the Melvins are also music-file-sharing proponents. So, you can download any/every song off their site that you want to sample.

yes melvins kick ass. I've seen them a few times, most recently on the pigs of the roman empire tour. It was just as awesome as usual.
