because they refuse to ban the puppet great_satan that someone has created. look at that fucking forum all the front page are his stupid spam links, it is all he posts. we actually had a few weeks to use the forum again before you let him back for some riduclous reason....HE IS A PUPPET from ed1 ...i thought puppets were supposed to be banned??? well please do your jobs and ban him, believe me he will not be missed

Wow i totally agree with you. That guy is seriously annoying and is an obvious troll and he even trolls other forums and posts links about it bragging about it.

Yes he does. Only 92.76% of his posts are in PA&L.

He should mostly be ignored, most of his posts are just content-lacking lists of links anyway.

I like him and I think he should stay.

I think the real problem is that his views offend some of the weaker-minded members.

I feel his posts are at the very least thought-provoking.

I found them to be reasonable and thought provoking, although I do not share many of his views.

Great_Satan has been banned a few times -- both as Ed1 and as Great_Satan. When he breaks the general rules of The Shroomery or of PA&L again, he will be banned again. Until then he won't be.

If you do a search for Ed1 and for Great_Satan, you will find that Ed1's final post occurred before Great_Satan made his first post. Great_Satan is therefore not a puppet, but a name change. He's not the only poster to this board to have retired a name and started fresh with a new one. I suggest anyone who was rated by both Ed1 and Great_Satan ask an admin to delete one or the other rating in the interest of fairness. They will happily comply.

The fact that you disagree with the content of the sites he links does not mean he should be banned. If you feel his presence in the PA&L forum distresses you to the point where you no longer feel comfortable posting there... well... there is always the "ignore" function, and there are many other forums in which you can post. I sympathize with people who have such delicate sensibilities they are easily upset. I'm sure the adminstrators also sympathize with such people. But the rules in the PA&L forum have always been designed to allow the maximum dissemination of various viewpoints -- unpalatable though they may be to some.
