Pans Subbs question

ok i read and researched them because they are basically all that grows where i live....sadly

and i found on one website that they grow from spring to autumn

then i found somewhere else that they grow from february to...some other month i don't remember

ans since its january i was wondering if anyone ever found any in january and if not have u found any in feb. in horse farms?

A location would help as well as information about your current temps, but their growing season varies greatly throughout the U.S., if your getting good warm spring temps, and decent rain then they'll grow.

Their habitat is mostly horse dung and behind horse stables in the stable shavings, and also in certain fertilized grasses. They relatively weak and you may have a pretty hard time finding them, and you most likely won't find them now.

thats the only shroom that i know of that grows in maryland....well that is active

Well I think that means Maryland is your location, and I can tell you your gonna have to wait a couple months to start searching.

But theres much to do in the meantime.

Read everything you can reguarding habitat, season, temps, and so on. Use the search button, search posts, search google, read.

Yeah, as a general rule: if it's snowed within the past month, looking for mushrooms tends to be futile. Especially warm weather mushrooms like Pan subbs.
