Something wrong with the PM service?

Hey,

I dunno if I've missed something, like the servers losing posts and stuff, but I sent a PM to someone a little while back, around November. I came on one day and I seen the little flashing letter icon, which tells me that I had a message, this was, I'm pretty sure sometime in December, I went into my mailbox thing, and there was no new message there. I also noticed that the initial welcome message u get when u join the shroomery was missing, the only two PM's left in my box were from ages ago and I had already read.

Is there any reason why this couldve happened? Like have the servers lost info or something? Is there anyway you could recover the message or get it resent?

I hope theres something that can be done.

November? I remember the PMs got hacked and some PMs were deleted a while back. That's probably it.

All messages older than 90 days get automatically deleted.
This doesn't explain your problem though if you say you got the message in November....

I actually recieved the message in December im pretty certain, could have been around the 10th-20th but im not 100% sure. The little icon of the envelope was flashing, so I clicked it, went into the inbox, and nothing was there. I remember when I held the mouse over the envelope icon it said I had 1 new message. If messages arent read, do they get deleted in quicker than 90 days?

No, only after 90 days.
