look, say I want to send Captain_Jack and Senor_Doobie
a little love letter letting them know that I'll be in New York
in a couple weeks and want to get together for the annual
grab-ass festival at Doob's house...

I've got to hand craft an email, copy it, send it, copy it
and send it again.

I think it would be nice to implement a comma seperated
list of recipient names.

It would make things a lot easier, especially for someone
like effed, who is trying to organize a large scale gathering
with many members.

this could be a hidden feature that can be granularly toggled
on and off on a user by user basis.

as for selective implementation...I'm simply suggesting some
sort of application process...

to get access to this feature, you have to sweet talk 3D or the
other admins.

at the first report of abuse or spam, yank the privilege and
bitchslap the offender.

ya heard?!

how much 'spam' do you get now?

do you think that all of a sudden, if
100 people on this board are given
the ability to do this, that your inbox
is going to overflow with PM's?

not likely, that's just ridiculous.

there's not even a user list for people
to refer to anymore to generate a
spam list.

plus, you can put a 10 recipient limit
on it or something.

I think it's a great feature if implemented
properly.

i agree with you, but that is easy to say, hard to do. especially when we are not the ones that would have to do all the hard work to make it work properly.

no one has addressed his idea yet for a selective "membership" for the ability to do this.

what would be wrong with taking the old cheers access list and turning that into a list for this priviledge?
