can fields be picked dry for good=(

i was wondering if a field can be picked dry if so will i ever see anything good there again and if i do how long do u think it would take ?

Mushrooms are reproductive fruiting bodies, exactly analogous to apples on trees. If you pick all the apples in the orchard there will still be apples again, you just will have to wait until the next season. The only way to eliminate mushrooms from a field would be to eliminate the mycelium. If the mushrooms are fruiting from cow patties, then the easiest way would be to stop allowing the cows into the field. As soon as the nutrients the current fungi are consuming are used up, the will be replaced in succession by other fungi.

Note this may take several years. I have a field that hasn't had cattle in it for at least 3 years, and it still produces an abundance of cubes.
