Congrats u found my patch..., Whay team u play for, cause I used to play for Lane Cove about ages ago. Too bad I raped the patch last week , hopefully there will be some rain to bring out some shrooms. Dont pick pinners.
I got another friend picking there some tall lanky bloke, rides a yellow Montreager stunt bike.

Sorry I forgot to Id those mushies those ones u found outside to the left of the toilet block are definatly active, I left them there because I thought a dog had pissed on it..
Jokes, na eat only the ones that stain blue, Those whitish mushrooms growing off wood arnt magic and they grow in clusters towartds the enterance of the park, possibly poisonous.
I would suggest u eat those pinners cause thos more mature mushrooms that have dried, look rather white on top and so do alot of other mushrooms in the area. Those ones out side the toilet block that are blue, eat the barstards befopre they lose their potency.

hey aussie! THE man arrives

Yeah, I hope you don't mind me finding your patch!

After so long searching I couldn't believe it......my lowly little school oval! I used to play soccer eons ago, and I'm even old enough but only juuust! to remember the days when it was a council tip!
ok, showing my age now....!

But thanks for that ID on those whitish ones.....wow there were a lot of 'em under the she-oaks at the edge of the oval, right? I figured they probably wouldn't be, but they smell awfully like cubies do when you grind 'em after drying.......!
I was a bit unsure because of this, but I guess the bluing reaction is one of THE indicators, huh

Thanks for sharing your knowledge! us rank newb hunters need a little help sometimes, hehe, and it's appreciated
(who knows it might rain here again pretty soon with any luck.....)

Those white ones are common in mulchy grass areas and are not active. But youve got some Subs to munch on now!

agghhh i go to my patch in the weekend, finally its cold enough, reports of subaeruginosa success are flooding in then shit the trees have all been chopped down in the past coupla weeks....
kept on looking in some new spots anyway, but got sidetracked by a large drum of petrol in the middle of the forest to fuel the evil forest killing machinery... thinking ill combine a pro-environmental protest with some free gasoline for the belmont i wheeled it up hill and down dale through the mud to the car about a kilometre away, yes it was a mission, but the feeling of satisfaction at seeing the fuel gauge abnormally full for once in its life was worth it ;]
got so fed up that i picked all the amanita muscarias opposite my house and am currently waiting for them to dry... yes i am desperate
